P. Jorge Garcia, JR., MBA, NACD, Director PDF Resume
Plinio Garcia’s passion for helping parents for the benefit of the child came from his own experiences. After being led to Major Family Services to deal with a child custody battle, Garcia could not resist getting involved.
One of the major principles of Dr. Jayne Major’s Breakthrough Parenting class, parental alienation, really hit home with Garcia. After completing the course and receiving a Corporate Certification Program at Anderson School of Business, UCLA, founder Dr. Jayne Major recognized Garcia’s passion. The combination of experiencing a hostile environment, the expert knowledge from the Breakthrough Parenting course and obtaining a certificate in the field positioned Garcia to continue Major’s legacy.
Dr. Jayne Major passed away in 2012, but she left behind more than 30 years of experience educating parents on what constitutes maintaining a healthy, cooperative relationship. Garcia who also has a multicultural and multilingual background relies on both his background and the knowledge passed down by Dr. Jayne Major to teach parents to become successful role models for their children. Today, Garcia, a Certified Breakthrough Parental Instructor, serves as the Chief Executive Director and parental coach for Major Family Services.
Garcia helps each individual one-on-one with amazing results. Not an attorney and not a therapist, Garcia offers real-world advice in a very confusing legal environment that repeatedly tends to punish the "caretaking" parent and reward the "taking" parent.
